Teacher observers may be on campus during the second week of the Academy. Observers may stay from two to seven days. Applications to this program are due in late May. Teacher observers will be housed in available rooms with the Academy, if possible. Each Academy should prepare a folder with basic information and schedules to assist with orientation, and may wish to assign a staff member to travel with the observer. Observers are invited to visit classes, join the students during meals, and observe all activities. They should not be expected to take on any official duties and have been reminded that they are observers only.
